What Is Fibrex™?

Developed by Andersen corporation, Fibrex™ is produced from a combination of wood fibers and thermoplastic polymer. It’s a strong, durable, and resistant to warping, rotting, and fading and is an attractive compliment to our log cabin kits. It also provides better insulation properties, helping to improve energy efficiency. Additionally, Fibrex™ is low-maintenance, requiring minimal upkeep compared to solid wood frames.

U-Factor

The U-Factor measures the rate of heat transfer from inside to outside through the window or Patio Door. The lower U-Factor value indicates better insulation properties.
